Over the summer, the Office of Educational and Community Partnerships led a delegation of UC Irvine deans and faculty to visit the Vamos Mexico Foundation and Centro Fox in Guanajuato and San Miguel De Allende. The visit aimed to foster educational partnerships with Mexican universities and non-profits for UCI students and researchers. During the visit, the delegation met with former President of Mexico Vicente Fox and First Lady Marta Fox de Sahagún, representatives from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM), Universidad de Guanajuato, and San Miguel de Allende Comprehensive Rehabilitation Center (CRISMA). The group toured campuses and discussed field study opportunities, research collaborations, and cultural exchange. To learn more please contact the Office of Educational and Community Partnerships.
